WE would like to thank all the committee members, sponsors and volunteers who helped to launch the inaugural Miami Beach Mayor Women's Conference in 2009. The 1st Annual Miami Beach Women's Conference was produced in twelve weeks with no budget, just an idea and an amazing team of women!
Thanks Mayor Matti Bower's constant inspiration, great partners, generous sponsors, tireless volunteers and a truly dedicated committee of women, an incredible event was produced and enjoyed by over 700 women of all ages. The event was well received by the media and best of all, it raised funds that were distributed to local women's organizations, such as The Miami Beach Commission for Women, The Miami Dade Commission for Women, The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Women's Business Council and Women's Exhibit; along with a special donation to maintain a statue in of Julia DeForest Tuttle; our 2009 "Woman in History" honoree.
